Kono Reunion Kite
The reunion kite was influenced by traditional Japanese style kites, which are often used for festive occasions and celebrations. Symbolically, the kite brings back memories to some of my happier moments as a child flying kites.

The Kanji in the center translates to mean circle, as in a gathering of a group of people with similar ties. A reunion! I used traditional Japanese elements and materials to represent our past generations. The children and graphics give it a contemporary look and represent our present and future generations. The seal on the bottom right corner is my family's signature.
